Please note that the property has no front desk and guests must contact the property in advance to arrange a check-in time.

Check-in after 19:00 is possible for an additional fee, subject to availability and by prior arrangement. From 19:00 - 21:00 - GBP 30. After 21:00 - GBP 50.

Kindly note the property only accepts credit or debit card, and cannot take payments by cash.

This property requires a minimum of 2 hours’ notice for all reservations.

The property does not charge a check in rescheduling fee, if notified by call or text message at least 1 hour before the check-in time. A charge of GBP 30 rescheduling fee applies in case of late show-up of over 15 minutes without a prior notice. The check-in will be rearranged at the most convenient time.

Please note that this property cannot accommodate stag or hen parties. Parties are also not accepted under any circumstances.

The accommodation will charge at least GBP 300 breakage and incidentals deposit on the day of booking. This is returned in the next 7 working days after your departure. In some cases arrivals can be charged up to GBP 2000 refundable damage deposit for security reasons.

Upon check-in, guests must show a valid, government issued photo ID and the credit card used for the booking. If the guest is not the cardholder then the cardholder must be present upon check-in to provide the card used to make the payment and a photo ID. Please inform Apartment Wharf - Baltimore in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A security deposit of GBP 300 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.

颱風米塔來襲　高鐵全天維持正常營運
台灣高鐵公司宣旅館預訂費用布，依目前氣象資料研判，颱風米塔對今天高鐵營運影響有限，高鐵全天維持正常營運服務，各車次列車依時刻表發車。

台灣高鐵公司上午發布新聞稿指出，因應颱風來襲，高鐵完成防颱準備，開設防颱應變中心，24小時監控全線颱風動態。

新聞稿指出，依目前各項氣象資料研判，颱風對今天高鐵營運影響有限，將全天維持正常營運服務，各車次列車依時刻表發車。但因目前颱風路徑仍持續變化，將進一步蒐集颱風相關資訊後，規劃10月1日營運模式，並於今天晚間8時宣布。

台灣高鐵公司提醒，颱風期間為確保運行安全，部分路段若風速、雨量過大，達到運轉限制標準時，列車將採取行車速限。

有關颱風期間相關退費及退票規定，訂飯店優惠自發布海上颱風警報日至解除海上颱風警報日止，購買上述期間列車車票的旅客飯店貼心服務，若列車正常運行而未搭乘，或列車運轉變更、車次取消，可自乘車日起1年內，持未經使用的車票至高鐵各車站辦理退票，免收手續費。

為確保列車運行安全，若風速、雨量達到運轉限制標準時，列車將採取行車速限，如因此延誤預定到站時間，屬天然災害因素，不適用延遲退費規定。（中央社）



 陰虛不可溫補


:

很多人知道，身體虛弱需要進補。不過，新北市中醫師公會理事施丞修昨日表示，傳統中醫認為，氣虛、血虛、陽虛這三類，吃一些溫補、營養熱量食品，可說是恰到好處，唯獨陰虛就是不行，恰恰不能溫補，補了以後反而有害。

施醫師指出，虛代表人體機能下降，機能下降原因之一是身體能量不足，包括熱量來源不足，以及體液（血液、淋巴液等）循環不足。熱量來源不足是因為陽氣虛，肌肉會顯得無力怕冷，如果是體液（水分）循環不足造成陰血虛，肌肉可能顯得無力，或是躁熱緊繃，此時身體會有熱象。

施丞修醫師指出，茯苓可以利水滲濕、健脾安神，參鬚功效類似人參，只是效果比較弱一點，麥冬可以養陰潤肺、益胃生津、清心除煩，玄參可清熱涼血、滋陰解毒，生地黃可清熱涼血、養陰生津。
